Extrusion processes are complex in their make-up including elaborate die designs, monolayer, multilayer, complex single, double or even triple vented barrels and screws, screw configurations including, parallel, conical, needing/mixing, single, twin, planetary, co-rotating and counter-rotating, screen changers, melt pumps, and finally materials of mostly hard to remove low mfi grade.
