Brooks Forgings specialises in hot-forged bolting solutions in the UK. Our in-house tooling allows us to manufacture a wide range of products, including DIN 7992, DIN 261 and SN425 hammerheads, as well as the full range of DIN 529 foundation bolts.

We produce hammerhead T-bolts and foundation bolts up to M100 in diameter and 6 metres in length.

We were recently approached for a North American project requiring hammerhead T-bolts to the SN425 specification and DIN 529 Type A foundation bolts to project-specific requirements. The end customer operates in aluminium rolling and recycling, producing low-carbon, high-recycled-content rolled aluminium sheet. Once complete, their new facility will be the first integrated aluminium rolling and recycling plant built in the United States in nearly 40 years

For this contract we manufactured 1,394 DIN 529 (Type A) foundation bolts in five diameters and various lengths, and 215 SN425 hammerhead T-bolts. SN425 hammerhead T-bolts were supplied with lifting eyes to aid safe handling and installation on site.

• M36 × 920 mm (T160) – SN425 – 62 qty

• M36 × 960 mm (T160) – SN425 – 4 qty

• M36 × 1,220 mm (T160) – SN425 – 5 qty

• M36 × 1,280 mm (T160) – SN425 – 76 qty

• M42 × 1,010 mm (T180) – SN425 – 8 qty

All bolts were supplied in grade 8.8 material with a self-colour finish and were securely packed in seven custom-made, pressure-treated wooden crates compliant with ISPM 15 regulations.
