Ovens and dryers in brick and tile plants need large volumes of air. Single suction centrifugal fans with transmission can reach flow rates up to 200,000 cubic metres an hour at heads of around 800 to 1200 Pa.

Those, and double suction versions with extractor hoods, can handle air at up to 450 degrees C. For aggressive clays, fans can be built with full or partial corrosion resistant materials.
