Automated Grease and Lubricant Application

Grease and lubricant are often applied by hand and by eye. Automated application puts the right amount on every part, cutting waste and improving consistency. Programmes are stored and recalled, so changeovers between parts are quick and repeatable. The same platform can run in the lab for development and on the shop floor for production. Dots, lines, arcs, beads and fills are all handled, with single and two part materials, from thin fluids to thick pastes. Common materials include two part epoxies and polyurethanes for bonding and potting, silicones for gasketing and sealing, MMA for fast structural bonds, and filled thermal compounds for heat management.
