Bulk Unloading Pumps for High Viscosity Sealants

Very thick sealants will not flow to a pump on their own. Bulk unloading pumps use a follower plate to push material into the pump, emptying containers fully. Pumps draw from 20 to 30 litre pails, 200 litre drums and 1000 litre IBCs, and work as transfer pumps, inline pumps, recirculation pumps and dispensing or grease pumps. Each application is analysed for material, chemistry and performance, the right seal and gasket kit is selected, and internal modifications are made where needed to optimise the pump. Materials handled include polyurethane and epoxy resins, acrylics, silicones, methyl methacrylate, polysulphides and thermal pastes, from low viscosity fluids right up to thick thixotropic pastes, across a wide spread of two part mix ratios.
