Valves for Abrasive Filled Materials
Abrasive fillers wear out standard valves fast. Valves built for filled materials use harder wearing parts to keep running longer between services. The valve is where material meets the part. Clean cut off, consistent flow and compatibility with the material decide the quality of the finished bead. Valves are matched to material, viscosity and feed system, covering bead, dot and fill applications with single and two part materials. Materials handled include polyurethane and epoxy resins, acrylics, silicones, methyl methacrylate, polysulphides and thermal pastes, from low viscosity fluids right up to thick thixotropic pastes, across a wide spread of two part mix ratios. Typical applications include bonding and sealing, filling and dosing, potting and encapsulation, casting and moulding, and form in place gasketing. The payback is simple. Less material wasted, fewer rejects, faster cycle times and a process you can repeat and document. Rockingham Systems provide installation, training, spare parts, on and off site servicing and ongoing technical support.
