Every pad printed component starts with the same basic requirement, a jig that holds it accurately and consistently through the entire print run. Andel Plastics designs custom jigs for pad printing projects at our Birmingham facility, building fixtures around the specific shape, size and material of each component rather than forcing a project through a generic holding method. This bespoke approach becomes especially important on parts with unusual geometry, where a poorly matched fixture would let a component shift slightly between prints and cause placement to drift across a batch. Once the jig is finalised, we support single colour printing with RAL or Pantone matching, using nylon or steel etched plates suited to the project's volume. Vector artwork support means a supplied design transfers cleanly onto the plate once the fixture itself is dialled in.
