The jig holding a component during pad printing does most of the work in determining whether a print lands accurately or drifts across a production run. Andel Plastics designs custom jigs for pad printing plastic parts from our Birmingham facility, building fixtures specific to each component's shape rather than adapting a generic holder that was never designed for that particular geometry. Getting the jig right matters most on parts with curves, undercuts or uneven surfaces, where a poorly designed fixture would allow a component to shift slightly between prints and throw placement off. Once a custom jig is in place, we support single colour printing with RAL or Pantone matching, using nylon or steel etched plates depending on the volume involved. Vector artwork support means a supplied logo prints cleanly once the fixture itself is dialled in correctly.
