The printing plate itself, whether etched in nylon or steel, is where a logo or marking is actually engraved before it ever reaches a component. Andel Plastics produces engraved pad printing plates at our Birmingham facility, choosing nylon for shorter runs and lower cost projects or steel for higher volume production where a plate needs to withstand extended, repeated use. Getting the engraving right at the plate stage determines everything that follows, since a poorly etched plate will transfer an inconsistent or blurred image regardless of how well the rest of the printing process is set up. Vector artwork support ensures a supplied logo or design engraves cleanly onto the plate with sharp, accurate edges. Once the plate is ready, we support single colour printing with RAL or Pantone colour matching, using custom jigs and fixtures to keep component placement consistent during production.
