The quality of a pad printed logo depends heavily on the artwork file behind it, which is why vector formats are the standard we work from wherever possible. Andel Plastics offers a vector artwork pad printing service from our Birmingham facility, using supplied vector files to engrave printing plates with sharp, accurate detail that survives scaling up or down depending on component size. Unlike raster images, vector artwork keeps edges crisp when transferred onto an etched plate, avoiding the blurred or pixelated result a low resolution image file might produce. Once the plate is engraved, custom jigs and fixtures keep components correctly positioned during printing, and we support single colour printing with RAL or Pantone colour matching using nylon or steel etched plates depending on volume. Components can be printed whether moulded in our own facility or supplied separately by the customer. For manufacturers who already have vector artwork ready, or need help preparing it, this service is built to translate that file into an accurate, repeatable print.
