Charpy Impact Testing at Minus 46C for Offshore Steels

Plenty of North Sea specs call for Charpy results at -46C. It is one of the most requested tests we run.

IPB Testing carries out impact testing to ASTM, BS EN and Izod standards from ambient down to -101C, and at -196C as well.

Our UKAS accredited lab machines the notched specimens in-house, which keeps the whole job tight and traceable.
