Cryogenic Impact Testing at Minus 196C for LNG

LNG and cryogenic service need materials that stay tough where most steels turn brittle. You only find out by testing them cold.

IPB Testing performs impact tests at -196C, alongside our standard range from ambient down to -101C.

Testing is done in our UKAS accredited laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with specimens machined in-house.

Ideal for stainless, nickel steels and other cryogenic grades used on LNG and gas processing work.
