Based in Cheltenham, the company specialises in green technology solutions for the processing, treatment, management and recycling of machining waste, helping manufacturers cut their carbon footprint, improve sustainability and save money.
J&S Engineering works closely with carefully selected specialist suppliers across Europe to bring the UK exclusive access to both standalone machines and customised systems for recycling, reclaiming and reusing waste materials, from metal swarf to cutting oil and coolant. The company holds sole UK agency status for FAMA fully automated swarf centrifuge systems and crushers, Hocker Polytechnik Brikstar briquetting machines, Rimann fluid separation and swarf spinning centrifuges, and Sofraper industrial machine and floor cleaning vacuums. Each supplier has been chosen for the strength of their technology, product quality and the level of support they provide.
This range of equipment gives customers real choice in how they manage waste materials. The numbers make the case on their own: up to 99% reclamation of cutting oil, up to 70% reduction in swarf volume, and significant increases in metal swarf recycling value.
J&S Engineering also designs and manufactures its own range of component collectors and bar chamfering machines right here in the UK. These innovative, cost effective product lines were developed to offer flexibility and bespoke solutions, with several models available in each range.
