Andel Plastics operates a purpose built Class 7 cleanroom in Birmingham, running since 2015 and developed specifically around medical and veterinary manufacturing requirements. Moulding takes place on machines ranging from 30 to 300 tonnes, so the cleanroom supports everything from small precision components to larger technical parts without compromising on control. Assembly and sterile packaging happen within the same environment, meaning components are never exposed to uncontrolled conditions between production stages, which matters when the end product has a regulatory or clinical use. We work to ISO9001 standards and follow ISO13485 procedures within the cleanroom, with recertification currently in progress, giving customers documented assurance rather than a verbal guarantee. Our in house toolroom supports the operation from tooling design through to repair, keeping production moving without relying on external suppliers.
