Class 7 Cleanroom Medical Manufacturing
Class 7 Cleanroom Medical ManufacturingMedical manufacturing puts particular demands on a production environment, from air quality through to documented process control. Andel Plastics has provided Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing from our Birmingham facility since 2015, developed specifically to serve medical device and related manufacturers who need consistent, contamination free output on every run. Injection moulding takes place on machines from 30 to 300 tonnes, giving us the range to produce small precision components as well as larger technical parts, with assembly and sterile packaging carried out in the same controlled environment. We work to ISO9001 standards across the business and follow ISO13485 procedures within the cleanroom itself, with recertification currently underway, so customers receive a documented, auditable process rather than an assumption of compliance. An in house toolroom supports the whole operation, meaning tooling design, trials, and repairs happen on site rather than through a separate supplier adding time and cost.
For medical manufacturers who need a genuinely full service cleanroom partner, this combination of capability, compliance, and control is exactly what the facility was built to provide.
