Complex plastic components often need assembly work that a standard factory environment simply is not built for. Andel Plastics offers cleanroom assembly as part of our Class 7 facility in Birmingham, running since 2015 and developed around the needs of medical and veterinary manufacturers. Because assembly happens in the same controlled environment as moulding, components move straight from production into assembly without exposure to uncontrolled air or handling, which matters enormously when parts are destined for regulated end uses. Our moulding machines span 30 to 300 tonnes, giving us the range to handle intricate multi part assemblies as well as larger technical components. We work to ISO9001 standards and follow ISO13485 procedures throughout the cleanroom, with recertification in progress, so customers get a documented process behind every assembled product. With an in house toolroom supporting the moulding side and sterile packaging available at the end of the line, we can take complex assemblies from concept through to finished, packaged product without ever handing the job to a third party.
