Contract packaging within a controlled environment removes one of the biggest risk points in medical and veterinary product supply chains. Andel Plastics provides cleanroom contract packaging services from our Class 7 facility in Birmingham, running since 2015 and built specifically for manufacturers who cannot afford contamination between production and dispatch. Because packaging is carried out in the same controlled space used for moulding and assembly, products never pass through an uncontrolled environment before they are sealed for shipping. Our moulding machines range from 30 to 300 tonnes, so the cleanroom accommodates a wide range of component sizes and complexities. We work to ISO9001 standards and follow ISO13485 procedures throughout the cleanroom, with recertification currently in progress, giving customers a documented process behind every packed batch. With an in house toolroom supporting production and a full injection moulding facility on site, we can offer contract packaging as a standalone service or as part of a complete moulding, assembly, and packaging package.
