Andel Plastics has run a Class 7 cleanroom from our Birmingham site since 2015, built specifically around the needs of medical and veterinary product manufacturers. Inside the cleanroom we mould, assemble, and pack components without them ever leaving a controlled environment, which cuts down the handling and transfer points where contamination typically gets introduced. Our injection moulding machines range from 30 to 300 tonnes, so the cleanroom can support small precision parts as easily as larger technical components. We work to ISO9001 across the business and follow ISO13485 procedures within the cleanroom, with recertification currently in progress, giving customers a properly documented quality trail. Backing all of this is an in house toolroom, meaning tooling design, trials, and repairs happen on site rather than through a third party supplier.
