Andel Plastics offers CAD design support for injection moulding from our Birmingham facility, accepting projects at any stage of development and working them through to a CAD model genuinely suited to production. Our engineering team reviews and develops designs specifically with moulding in mind, adjusting wall thickness, draft angles and feature placement to avoid problems that would only otherwise surface once tooling had already been cut. In house mouldflow analysis and tool design expertise feed directly into this process, so CAD development is informed by how the design will actually perform once moulded rather than treated as a separate drawing exercise. Accepting everything from initial sketches through to full CAD models means we can support a project regardless of how far a customer has already progressed.
