Andel Plastics carries out ultrasonic friction welding from our Birmingham facility, developing bespoke welding horn technology matched to the specific material and geometry of each component rather than applying a generic, one size fits all setup. The result is a strong, consistent polymer bond produced in a matter of seconds, well suited to medical, industrial and general manufacturing applications across the UK. Because the process generates the joint through friction and vibration rather than an added adhesive, there is no cure time, no solvent handling and no separate bonding material to manage during production. Supported by our own injection moulding facility and in house toolroom, we can move components from initial mould through to finished, welded assembly on the same site.
