Machine Tool Supplies was established in 1991 and has spent over three decades building a strong reputation as a specialist supplier of driven and static tooling for CNC turning centres. Based in Bolton, the company has grown from a small tooling supplier into a trusted name across UK manufacturing, known as much for its technical support as its product range.

The team consists of five fully skilled engineers, three office based and two field based, who provide face to face technical support and practical advice directly at customer sites. Whether it's selecting the right tooling for a specific job or solving a tricky machining challenge, the engineers are always available, and customers are welcome to visit and work through problems in person rather than over email.

In 2004, MTS became the sole and exclusive UK and Ireland agents for MT Srl, giving customers access to high quality driven and static tooling backed by genuine technical knowledge rather than just a catalogue. MT's own range covers static and driven tool holders for turning machines, compatible with all major lathe brands, with a catalogue of over 13,000 standard items. Where a standard solution doesn't fit, custom engineered tool holders are developed to match exact specifications.

MTS also repairs and services driven tools for lathes and angle heads for machining centres, all driven and static tooling comes with a two year warranty, and every order ships on a next working day basis. Alongside MT, the company represents a strong line-up of established brands including Allmatic, Brighetti Meccanica, Chaimo, NPI, OMG, QPM, Sassatelli and Schussler.
