Real Time Motor Load Adjustment Technology

Most motor inefficiency comes down to a simple mismatch: the motor is sized for a demand it rarely, if ever, actually faces, and that mismatch shifts constantly through a working day as the task in front of it changes. A motor running a fixed, unadjusted output has no way of responding to that shifting demand.

Integra from Suresense solves this with real time load adjustment. It monitors the motor's actual load continuously, recalculating and adjusting the power supplied roughly every 10 milliseconds, effectively electronically resizing the motor to its application on an ongoing basis rather than a one-off setting decided at installation.

Because this adjustment happens live and this quickly, the motor always has the power available it needs the instant it needs it, typically within a 50th of a second if a sudden full load demand arrives. What changes is the amount of energy consumed during the far more common periods of partial load, which is where the bulk of the savings come from.

This real time responsiveness is what makes Integra suitable across such a wide range of fixed speed applications and industries.

Suresense can talk through how this real time adjustment would apply to a specific motor and duty cycle, since the scale of the benefit depends heavily on how variable that particular application's load actually is.
